A Practice for Everyday Life is a graphic design studio, type foundry and shop based in London.

Lisa Sorgini is an Italian-Australian artist. Born in Adelaide, Australia she now resides in the Northern Rivers, NSW (Bundjalung Country).
Her practice engages with the complexities of the human condition.

Growing up in a fractured family environment in the alternative ‘Rainbow Region’ of Northern NSW she is acutely aware of the actuality and coexistence of deep love and brutality in human relationships.

Working across photography Lisa investigates the dominating societal perceptions and constructs that are often vastly at odds with the lived experience and considers the representation of mothers, children and familial spaces.

I’m Quentin Creuzet and I’m a French designer/developer based on the internet. I’m working for various freelance projects and try to figure out what could be a website as half of F451 with Domitille Debret. I teach coding at the Graphic Design Department of the KABK (Royal Academy of Art) in The Hague (NL). You can contact me for any kind of coding and graphic design project.

Installée comme graphiste indépendante depuis 2019 à Marseille, j’y développe une pratique qui mêle design graphique, design éditorial, illustration et sérigraphie. Je fais également partie d’un collectif avec lequel nous avons ouvert une imprimerie au printemps 2021 (sérigraphie, gravure, presse typo, développement photo et impression laser). Nous y traduisons et éditons des poèmes, organisons des permanences d’impression, des lectures de poésie, des concerts, des résidences, des expositions, des lancements de livres et des projections.

studio classico is a creative studio in the field of architecture and design based in Paris and Marseille. With a background in mechanical engineering and the applied arts, studio classico interacts architecture and design while drawing inspiration from a variety of traditional and vernacular languages in the light of contemporary issues. Choices are dictated by a reflection on uses and functions, but also by the expressiveness of materials and local craftsmanship, which reflect the studio’s ethical and environmental standards.

Collletttivo is an Open-Source type foundry and a network of people promoting the practice of type design through mutual exchange and collaboration.

This collection aims at giving visibility to libre fonts drawn by womxn designers, who are often underrepresented in the traditionally conservative field of typography. These fonts are shared under Free, Libre and Open Source licenses, which allow anyone to use them, modify their design, contribute more glyphs or styles to their non-nuclear families, build upon them and redistribute them further.

Thomas Huot-Marchand (1977) vit et travaille à Besançon. Après son diplôme à l’école des Beaux-arts de Besançon, il intègre l’Atelier national de recherche typographique (ANRT), où il étudie la création de caractères typographiques (avec Peter Keller, Jean Widmer, Hans Jurg Hunziker, André Baldinger & Philippe Millot). Il y dessine Minuscule, un caractère pour les très petits corps, qui a reçu ensuite plusieurs prix internationaux (Type Directors Club de New York en 2005) et désigné en 2010 comme l’un des «Ten typefaces of the decade».

En 2006-2007, Il est pensionnaire à l’Académie de France à Rome - Villa Médicis. Entre 2002 et 2012, il enseigne le design graphisue et la typographie à l’Institut supérieur des Beaux-arts de Besançon et à l’Ecole d’art et de design d’Amiens. En 2012, il est nommé directeur de l’ANRT, 3e cycle de l’École nationale supérieure d’art et de design de Nancy. Il publie en 2016 le catalogue ANRT Archives, 1985-2006. Il dessine en 2017-2018 Minérale, puis Garaje (2020), tous deux également primés par le TDC et distribués par 205TF. Son dernier caractère, Album, a été publié en 2021.

Typographe en résidence au Hoffmitz Milken Center for Typography de Pasadena en 2019, il y poursuit ses recherches initiées à Rome 13 ans plus tôt.
Membre de l’Alliance graphique internationale entre 2010 et 2020, ses travaux sont conservés dans les collections du Centre national des arts plastiques (Cnap), du Musée national des arts décoratifs de Paris, de la Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF), du Centre Pompidou, du Centre national du graphisme de Chaumont et du Museum für Gestaltung de Zürich.
